Dachshund festival and camping

This weekend we went to the Ellensburg Dachshund festival, and then camping at Lake Easton. It was Kayden first camping trip and she did really good. The dogs had fun too. Grandma Jenny joined us for the night. It rained a little bit, but not enough to ruin the trip.

Our bird's nest

We discovered this bird's nest in my hanging basket planter last weekend. The mama bird has been hanging around our backyard. Alot of times she sits in the basket with the eggs. We think its either a chickadee or a sparrow. Hopefully we'll have little chirping birdies soon :)

First Pony Ride

We went to the hydroplane races at the state park this weekend and Kayden got to go on her first pony ride. She loved it. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa.

I've been trying to get her to do this for awhile, and she's finally getting it! Yay :) We're taking her to her first Sounders (soccer) game tonight too!

We love Caspar Babypants!

We recently discovered the kid's band Caspar Babypants. They are doing a tour of all the King County libraries right now. We've been to two shows and now have both of their CD's. The main singer is the guy from The Presidents of the United States of America. He is pretty awesome with the kids. The first one Kayden and I went to with our playgroup friends, but they did a show last Saturday morning at the Bellevue library, so Jeff got to come too. We stopped at Lake Sammamish park on Friday for a walk.. The dogs tipped over the stroller while we played on the toys.
