Happy Halloween Pt. 2

We stayed in tonight and carved a pumpkin, and waited for trick or treaters. We had 4 sets of them, one with about 10 kids!

This weeks adventures

We went to a halloween baby playdate yesterday with some moms and kids from our meetup group.

We did a class called Bathtub Babies today. It was really fun! We learned some ways to encourage Kayden to starting swimming by practicing in the bathtub, then we got to go in the pool. She liked it, until she got hungry but we spent about a half hour in the pool. We can start lessons there in January for the next session. Here are a few pictures.

Mommy's Little Lamb

Lucy got ahold of one of Kayden's cute little socks! It was bound to happen I suppose..

Kayden's cute new shirt, I think its my new favorite. We took these this morning in her crib.

2 month checkup

Kayden had her 2 month checkup last week, I forgot to post about it. She weighed in at 10 lbs 14 oz, 50th percentile, and was 23 inches long, 70th percentile. She handled her shots pretty well actually, she didn't even cry after the 1st one but the 2nd one got her! The pediatrician said she is developing well and right on track! She even lifted her head about 45 degrees while on her stomach! She goes back in 2 months for the next round!

My new favorite toy

Kayden's new favorite toy is the aquarium bouncer. She can stare at those fish forever! Its similar to the one in her crib.. Her new thing is flailing her arms and legs when something gets her attention. It's pretty cute!

The past couple weeks Kayden has started cooing and smiling alot more.. its so cute. We managed to catch her on video the other day. Her legs are also getting alot stronger, her favorite thing is to stand on your lap. She has her 2 month checkup on Monday, shots oh boy! We joined a mom's group and have gone to a couple outings.. It will help motivate us to get moving and out of the house. We also went to the library the other day and checked out some books. I like reading to her, she stares at the pictures and I know its good to start early! Jeff has been taking pictures of her in her costumes so we should have those up soon.

Kayden was not happy in her swing or crib when I wanted to make dinner last night, so I put her in the carrier and she helped me..
